quick photos in my room with my new dress =]
i wish i had a white blank background sometimes, or something other than my wall. i have to find somewhere new that's close at hand like my room to take photos.

I agree with your comment about the background. The foreground has an interesting taste of freedom but the background distracts the eye with all the flashy colours. It kind of takes away of what the foreground is trying to portray to the viewer. Maybe you could try to find a sheet which could cover all the pictures and pin it against the wall? Also you could try to tape a large, thick piece of paper to the wall.
I'm not sure though. Keep on thinkin' of new ideas.

yeah that sounds like a good idea. i bought a giant piece of white materical a while ago, i just never got around to putting it up. so maybe i will, and that way i can keep taking photos in my room

Very good. You should try to experiment with the white background. Working with shadows might be something nice to play with if you have a white background.

idk, i think the cluttered background adds to it in a way...mayhaps a bit a telephoto to get less depth of field tho.

glad you like it =] its all just natural lighting from the window (it was almost getting dark though, so i had to use a longer shutterspeed and stay really still so i wouldn't blur) and then just some post-processing in photoshop, levels, and some colour changes.

I like the wall as a background. It's so dynamic. I feel like it's a good contrast to the stillness in the foreground. But I can see how a blank bg would come in handy.
