I love this shot - probably my favorite out of all your water ones. The light on the water is beautiful ^^

i have always loved the pattern that water makes
on the seafloor, on the bottoms of pools,
on skin and sand alike.
it's like spiderwebs underwater.

I meant to make comment on this picture when it was originally posted, but forgot, so I guess now is as good a time as any. (Probably would never have remembered if it wasn't for the edit.)
To start on my harshest criticism and work my way up, I think this is one of the least appealing pictures in this set, visually. As much as I'm normally quite fond of drawing attention away from the centre of the picture, I find that the arm stands out a little too much - as though the bottom left of the piece is the only thing you're supposed to see. The rest of the picture is a little too dark, a little too uneventful...
With that said, I'm not completely running down the picture. I actually really like the message it expresses. (I may sound like I'm contradicting myself now, but I don't mean to.) The piece is very "Ophelia". The first time I saw it, Hamlet came straight to mind, which is something the other pictures in the series didn't manage for me. The caption underneath goes miles in adding extra depth to the picture. Suicide, drowning, the darkness around the edges... This girl really could be mourning the loss of her father. It's entirely possible.
It's an extremely pensieve picture, very emotional, and quite a daring piece. It seriously deserves credit, I just wasn't very fond of the actual visuals. Still, keep up the good work.

Very nice, another "hanging on" to add to the collection. That was my first thought when i looked at this, it just reminded me of "Communication Breakdown" But just more graceful. This is really good. I've quite enjoyed this series Julia, so thank you.
