"Uhm... Astrid? D-do you really think that interrogating every Riolu we come in contact with will help us find the ninja?"
"Well, duh! We're not gonna find him any other way! Unless you have any other suggestions?"
"Uh... N-no, not really."
"Well then, this is our only method of doin' things! If any Riolu run, then we've got our culprit!"
"W-well, you're the boss Astrid."
And back on the search they went. Quite a few Riolu were startled by a Wooper tackling them to the ground and demanding answers from them that day. Luxor counted about twenty, and one ditto. And yet none of these Riolu were the culprit that Astrid was so adamant about looking for.
"Astrid, uh, we're not making progress here. C-can we at least break for lunch?" Luxor asked, feeling slightly defeated by the constant failures.
"Lunch sounds great! Andalusstian Stuffed Mushrooms?"
"Yeah, that sounds great!"
"Aces! We'll head on over to the restaurant then? Unless, of course, you wanna go t' the Red Rose instead?" Astrid said jokingly, wiggling her eyebrows in an attempt to get a reaction out of Luxor. And a reaction is what she got.
"P-please no, Astrid! You know that I never want to go in there again!"
"Hehe! Luxor you're turnin' red mate! I was just jokin' with you!"
Luxor currently had his hands over his face, covering his embarassed expression. Astrid just patted Luxor's back with her tail in an attempt to reassure him.
"Listen mate, I was just kiddin'! Let's head to the restaurant and get ya a glass of water, you're red as a Cherubi!"

"There he is!"
Luxor nearly jumped out of his skin when Astrid shouted in the middle of the restaurant, drawing the attention of many restaurantgoers.
"Astrid wha-wah!"
Luxor was immediately drug out of his seat by the wooper and out of the restaurant, his mind trying to play catch up with his feet as he and Astrid chased after the figure in the distance. Astrid immediately rattled off a plan to catch him, involving him blocking an alley's exit as she trapped him with a pitfall dug by her.
The plan was executed flawlessly and the Riolu was trapped in a ditch.
"You're under arrest by the orders of the Andalusstian Royal Guard! Explain yourself criminal!" Astrid said, puffing herself up in an attempt to be seen as the leader.
"I was just following orders! I d-dont have other place to go! Show mercy upon me, Explorers!"
"Luxor, explain to him that there were other places to go."
Luxor stood there for a moment, contemplating the Riolu's words.
"Uhm, h-hey Mr. Ninja... I know how you feel. Being a servant isn't fun at all.... but you know what is fun instead? Getting an icecream together! As friends!"
"That's ri- wait, what?"
"We can get you out of this pit, i-if you come quietly. And then we can go get ice cream, and we can go visit Mr. Sundance!" Luxor offered the Riolu a hand up, giving him a small smile.
"Arigato..." the Riolu muttered, taking Luxor's paw and lifting himself out of the hole.
As they went on their way to the ice cream parlor, Vanillite's Tasty Treats, Astrid pulled Luxor to the side.
"Luxor, what was that about being a servant?"
Only silence as a response.
"What happened before I found you?" she asked quietly.
