Hi
So here is my next emote "style". It's just bigger
Might not interest a lot of people, but let me explain why I won't use the previous 15*15 anymore.
I'm not creating emotes for their chat abilities. They are surely great for making a chat room far more interesting and apealing. But their size have been chosen manly because it fits well in a text. It's not too high.
My emotes aren't done to be used in a text. Hopefuly, they are telling a story, entertaining. So, the bigger the better. It might be harder, but The one who's looking at my emotes doesn't mind in a first step if it's hard or not. It's only something that has to appeal. If it's too small, i noticed several time that I hadn't enough place to develop as I wanted my expressions.
So, for my use, bigger emotes are surely better.
And more than once, some friend told me they were too small to appreciate them completly
It's 19*19px.
What do you think about it ?

Well i think it's good emote 
the shading of pixel art should have a lightning, which is left or right. i mean that the lighter color should be on right or left! and not in center. and that's it (and sorry if i am that ugly in english

Actually, the shading isn't supposed to be with the lightning exactly on the center [link]

Je trouve ta démarche très intéressante, parce qu'elle est totalement en accord avec ce que tu peux présenter dans ta galerie (de vraies histoires, comme tu le dis d'ailleurs ^^). Tu vas utiliser ce nouveau style pour tes longues anim' alors ? : ) en tout cas ce premier émote a vraiment quelque chose, j'ai hâte de voir ce que tu nous montreras ensuite \o/

J'espère aussi, mais on t'en voudra pas si c'est le cas n_n la prépa doit te prendre pas mal de temps, donc... (d'ailleurs c'est franchement la classe de garder des passions à côté comme ça, et puis d'avoir plein de projets (j'ai lu ton dernier journal, go go go \o/)

Moi je trouve que c'est cool du 19², au moins on a pas à approcher la tête comme pour certaines emotes de 15², faut voir ce que ça donne en animation

Maybe it's because we're used to it
And I don't say there's something wrong
I consider it as... a different shading style where the size changes too. I mean, there are different shading style. Where the color and all changes. Now, I consider it differently. The size of the emotes are considered as a part of the shading.
For the sense of perspective, I think that it's the case if there's an other smaller emote behind it. But if there's only a 19*19 px emote in the image, the eye will be used to it.
