Nice! I can definitely see them all falling into these roles (literally in Milo's case) naturally in such an AU.

Like any good AU, it started out as this totally logicless "Melissa as a flapper just 'cause" and ended up with me crying laughing at the thought of Milo running around yelling "EXTRA! EXTRA! FIRE DOWNTOWN!!!" and everyone yelling back "YES WE KNOW YOU STARTED IT."

Very in-character. (I'm not sure how much of this show you've seen, but his dad, who has the same "condition", is the town safety inspector - he's the ultimate test because his presence highlights everything that needs to be fixed! My weakness is when writers come up with kind of a broad, silly concept that should really be just a joke and then plumb it to its logical depths. I love it.)
