"Can't I just wear a tshirt and shorts?"

So will you. Besides you need to work on your tan, so I don't want you covering up today. I'll be holding onto your towel until you need to dry off."

"Oh stop that!" I rolled my eyes. "There is nothing to see there so there's no bulge to cover up. You're not getting shorts, so forget about it. You can't hide anything, so be proud."
He trembled He'd be fine. After he'd tried it on I announced it was time to go.
"But what will I wear in the car?"

"I can't wear just this."
"Why not? Who'll see? I told you to forget about covering up today. No shirt, no towel, no sarong. Besides, you look very attractive. So covering up would be silly."
When we got to the beach, the car park was crowded. He was loath to get out. Especially when he saw that, yes, while the other girls were wearing bikinis, most of them had either shorts, or kimonos or sarongs over them.
