Description
Few horses had such a nice retirement as the Obertaurer stallion Contradictio had.
He had been pampered all spring because he was a bit stiff in his back, and could not
be ridden for longer sessions. Not that he was over working or something, but it was
sometimes nice to get out on a hike with his rider Sara for hours and just trail around.
You could see clearly he was the elder in the herd, he had reach the glorious age of 24,
and he was still in a very good shape (beside his stiff back). But we have to give him a
break, he has carried around Sara for many years. as his conversation had since a time
back appeared in his face. Sara thought this just added more character to the old man,
and liked the light color compared to his old roan one.

But he indeed had been pampered with headed blankets and massage sessions morning
and evenings, and as soon as summer arrived his back was better and he could enjoy the
summer with the rest of the Obertaurers.
