My betta babies!
This is my first successful breding with Bettas, and they are halfmoons
I've made on before but with a veiltail, but none survived. This time I was more lucky 
They are so gorgeous! There are eleven babies and two of them are getting blue while the others will be white/red/blue
Their daddy is my beloved halfmoon Debussy and their mom is a dark blue halfmoon, who sadly died a couple of months ago.But I love my baies!
If you sit down infront of the tank, they all will swim and crowd by the front glass and stare at you

My bettas refuses to "get to work" with there mating... I have had several bettas and they produced lots of babies, but the ones i have now just wont act... I wounder what is wrong

Yes the males and females are aggressive towards each other but females are usually more tolerant. When bettas spawn like this, the babies are not very aggressive...however when they start to show aggression, they must be removed and put into solitary confinement

Bettas fry are the cutest little things in the world; and they are such characters! Mine always nibble at my fingers when I place them in the tank. They are fearless little tykes!
