Description

There was only one way really to keep warm during The White December, and that was

by thinking back on warmer memories. He remembered his visit to Oak Crest Stables in

the US, and his meeting with Nicole... whom he was very fond of. The day he had arrived

they had headed out on a trail ride together with stallion Dynamo and the mare Baywatch

and Sebestjen did quite like the mare he was riding. They had been talking of what they

had been up to during their separation since Nicole left Rosendal to return home which

meant they had to say good bye.

They often seemed to say good bye. It wasn't easy with fancy someone on the other side

of the globe when you had no possibilities to visit them all too often. The trail had been

great and very relaxing until Sebbe pushed Baywatch forward to walk beside Nicole and

Domino. Nicole saw the mare moving more forward, and decided to move DC a bit faster

too. He picked up his head and took in his surroundings as if he just woke up from daydreaming.

Surely she would not let some mare show up her stallion, not that it mattered to him.

Sebbe watched the stallion as he moved up to the faster pace.

"He likes to be in the lead?" He winked at Nicole.

"No, he would actually prefer to be in back. But if he isn't occupied with leading he will start

grazing and walking even slower," Nicole explained. "And I would cry if a mare could walk

faster than my majestic stallion."

Sebestjen laughed. "Well, I guess you would. And I am willing to test the theory." He nudged

the mare forward into a trot, not willing to burst into full canter from start since he didn't know

the mare at all.

"It's on!" Nicole shortened her reins and gave the stallion a squeeze. He started to walk faster,

tail flicking in annoyance however. After a few more squeezes he was alert and trotting, though

still behind Baywatch.

The trail had ended up with a race between the two of them, and it had felt so good with the

wind in the face and the laughter afterwards.
Another wind made him snap out of his daydreams though, and he was back at the White December.

This is sooo late
But better late than never x3 I dedicated this day to draw this. Not everyday we see a drawing of

mine with two horses and two riders x3
