FAS Number 1 Lady 4 You was purchased through a auction at FAS and when the boarder of Rosendal saw this girl, they just had to buy her. So they didn’t bid. They bought, just because they really wanted this young mare, seeing great potential in the corner of her eyes.

Lady is a sweet yet lively girl who knows what she wants. She has shown great adaptability and versatility in her riding, but dressage is the discipline she will compete in in the future, as most of her ancestors acted in this profession. She haven’t shown any certain interest for shows and is most likely the horse you don’t notice out on the arena before a Show. You notice her first when she enters the actual show ring. Lady has a playful side as she has got from her dam, Ilu. Her favorite game is to shake her head and relax her lips and making flapping sounds with them. She enjoy talking and snorts more than any other horse in the stable.

Lady has a beautiful confirmation which she has inherited from both of her parents, FAS Alejandro and FAS 1 Thing 2 Do 3 Words 4 You I Love You. She has a beautiful long head with a pare of lively and expressive eyes. She is rather strongly built and yet she moves easily. He walk is average, noting special about that, also her trot is rather average but her canter is a beautiful sigh to see. She is quick to collect and to extend and her parade movement is easily the flying changes and tempi changes. Also her extended gallop is beautiful as she wins ground in a good manor.
She has been jumped but haven’t really shown any interest for the discipline. When she lands she does so with a bang. She lands heavily and riders have fallen off because of the heavy impact. Even experienced riders have fallen of her (Sara).
To lunge Lady is both fun and exhausting as she returns to the center after every lap. She walks up to you and want a snack, since she believes she did so good, a whole lap.
If there is something she doesn’t like then it is groundwork. If a horse can hate, then this is her hate.

To take care of Lady in the stable and such is a pleasure since she is a joy to work with from the ground. She never do anything stupid and is always cooperative. She is one of the few horses at Rosendal who actually enjoys the visit by the vet and Ferrier. She have learned that if she stands still, she will get sweets for every hoof she lifts, or every minute passing by.

Lady is never far away in the pasture. She never walk to the very end of it, but is always keeping herself close to the gate, by some reason. So she is a pick nick to bring in. In the stable she is very reserved in her stall. It is her private space and if a new rider tries to enter, she will test the boundaries. She has even reared in her stall at one time, just to see how far she could go. It all ended that William snatched her halter and yelled a firm “no”. After that, she just looked at him with her big eyes, accepting the correction.

You can ride Lady almost everywhere, she won’t really care. Just take care when you are riding outside and it is a windy day, since she tends to act up, playing.

Lady is our new addition to the stable and we hope she can produce some wins in the future.
