Something was wrong, Xanthus knew it. Nidra closed her eyes and sighed heavily. What she had to say was extremely hard for her. Xanthus waited patiently with his heart pounding hard against his chest.

- I will leave Elephteria," she whispered and her voice shocked. Xanthus's heart stopped. Had he heard right?
- You, you... You... are leaving... me…, he stammered and felt the panic grow. This could not just happen. Nidra had never given any hint that there would be something between the two of them... but he had still some hope that it would be the two of them some day.

-No, Xanthus ... I will leave the land...
-But then you leave me too," whispered Xanthus and his dreams died within him. Nidra suffered, but not as much as Xanthus.
-Don’t leave me. I do anything you ask, you have to stay! said Xanthus desperate. If you leave Elephteria, I will follow you. I cannot live without you by my side. Since you denied me, I have still deep feelings for you. You are the only one. I ask for nothing more, only your love. But if I have to prove it to you, by abandoning the herd... Nidra’s otherwise dead eyes, seemed to find a source of light, and she smiled quietly. She took a step towards Xanthus and pressed her forehead against his.
