It was a hectic day at Rosendal. Everything was pure
chaos, it was two men short today. Kei was ill, and Sebestjen was free for holidays. Sara quickly tacked up some of the horses and started to train them.

When she had ridden Loucortée, Seaflame Demoole and Bonnylass, it was time to ride Lockhart Van Gogh. The young stallion had his first show coming up, so he needed some ground work with bars. When Sara mounted, Lockhart started to walk when she was halfway up on his back with only one foot in the stirrups. Sara held him in, correcting his behaviour while she was talking to him. She succed to mount, and soon he started to walk.

The outdoor paddock was slightly muddy. It had rained the day before but it didn't bother Lockhart nor Sara. Everything went splendid. There where only one time when Lockhart jumped to the side by surprise when William came walking on the other side of the fence, in the garden. He had no time to observe his future wife, and walked into the house.

Sara had patted Lockhart to comfort him after the surprise by William. After a 45 minutes workout, she finaly ended the training. She gave the stallion long reins and loosend her stirrups from her feets, letting them dangle as Lockhard walked on with his head and neck lowered, satisfied with todays workout.
Oh, God... Sara thought to herself... Now it's the yearlings who needs to be longed, all of them!
- This will be a long evening... she said to herself as she leaned down to Lockharts withers and neck.
