This is (in you opinion at my poll) the best racehorse of all times, Ruffian!
She was a real champion, to bad that she died young. But she is the Queen of the Filly's, and will always bee

Poor Ruffian, I never read about a filly with a fire like she had, these kinds of horses are rare and few, they are true champions...
I still think she's a winner despite her fall, it doesn't mean she lost the race, and she'll always be a winner.

I always think they race these beauties too young, which is why so many of them break down long before their prime. She was a gorgeous, talented filly, who left us way too soon.

Excellent, and I have to say I agree with you :3 Every race of hers that I've had the chance to watch just amazes me; there were few instances ever when another horse managed to get a nose in ahead of her even during the race! One I remember in particular I know her competitor was close to passing her but the filly just kept fighting <3 I don't believe I've seen another horse like her, nor do I expect ever to see one.
Needless to say, the match race ripped my heart out

OMG absolutley luf this!!! Its about time I saw some thoroughbred work! You bet she was the best, and probably will remain the best. Other great fillies include Winning COlors and Genuine Risk, our latest derby winning fillies. Personal Ensign** OMG cant forget Stardom Bound and Zenyatta. Plus you got Rags to Riches and Rachel Alexandra. OMG n theres more! But es Ruffian was amazing. Too bad I wasnt alive to see her run.... *clicks fav button*

This is Truely Amazing... !! I love it... My friend has the Breyer horse... But its the wrong color... On the model, she is Dark bay, but she was not in Real life... Also they got the Markings wrong and didnt even make her muzzle brown.

I wish Breyer would have made it right, thats why i didn't buy it.

She was a beautiful horse and her death was such a horrific tragedy. I do know three horses that top her in my list, and that is Desert Orchid, Denman and Kauto Star. Barbaro was also fantastic. :3

They're very recent english Steeplechasing phenomenons. Kauto Star has recently equalled Desert Orchid's record of winning 3 Gold Cups in 3 years, and Denman is just incredible to watch. He sits behind the leaders and then just powers past them! He's also beautiful looking, and has only ever been beaten once.
I know, I cried when I heard what happened to her. V.V
