I bet o’chunks makes a great pillow. And blue and nas holding hands in their sleep, adorable. I really like the stripes of light from the blinds, it makes the room feel a little like…a home I guess? Just comfy. Like, you can really feel the mood of the picture. It’s great.

i've spent a lot of time on road trips and in hotel beds so the blinds are something i remember well about laying there waiting for death. i mean, to fall asleep. but yeah "cozy" was definitely what i was going for, so i'm glad it got conveyed well.

<3 i've never tried it before and it ended up being really smooth and fun to have highlights like that. i also remembered you had tried shading with the multiply setting so i wanted to give it a try too (although i didn't quite shade with it), and it really helped with the color balancing.

thank you! i was hoping they would register as window blinds. there's a certain weird cozy timelessness to laying in a motel bed in the middle of the night.
