Description

The Mandalorians were a clan based cultural group that was comprised of members from multiple species all bound by a common culture, creed, and code. They originated on the planet Mandalore in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories and had a particularly important role in galactic history as legendary warriors against the Jedi.

After the fall of the Empire and the rise of the New Republic, some Mandalorians went into hiding following the Empire's Great Purge of the Mandalorians. One such group was called "the Tribe," who hid in a covert on the planet Nevarro. Din Djarin, commonly known as "the Mandalorian" or "Mando" for short, is a human male Mandalorian from the Tribe who worked as a bounty hunter during the New Republic Era.

"The Child" is a male Force-sensitive Mandalorian foundling that belonged to the same species as Jedi Grand Master Yoda and Jedi Master Yaddle.

While still an infant at the age of fifty years old, he was sought by an Imperial who hired a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin to retrieve him.

However, the Child became a Mandalorian foundling and Din Djarin was tasked with searching the galaxy for the Child's species.

"A foundling is in your care. By Creed, until it is of age or reunited with its own kind, you are as its father."
