Description
The Moonlighters, calling an old mine their home and base.
Notes:
- An old mine repurposed into the now Moonlighter Base. There are a few caverns such as the Main Hall and the cave acting as Lily and Flint's chamber, the rest is a neverending labyrinth of hallways and corridors for team members to get lost in. People tried to properly map out the hallways once, it didn't end well.
- Entering the base (if you march straight past the signs), you'd find that there is a platform attached to a pulling system heading up and down, which is likely a remnant from the days when the mine was still opperational. It is watermill-powered as a portion of the Moonlighter base lies right beneath Star Lake. Now this system is running to make it easier on mons who have troubles with the downward slope, but nowadays everyone uses it out of laziness (because walking is for nerds). The issue is that this causes the pulling mechanism to get stuck very often, and members need to be send on rope duty to maintain the machine.
- Mons looking to start a new team don't have a registry available to them, they have to head into the lion's den instead: Straight to Lily and Flint's chamber, where the Guildmasters assess new recruits. If you think about stealing something from Lily's Stash, think twice!
- The Main Hall acts as a gathering spot for the Moonlighters. The big fire in the middle oddly enough doesn't burn the wooden elements that support this chamber. Looks cool though!
- Navigating the mine system is a skill you need to learn quickly. Team members sabotage each other constantly with false signs and wrong directions, and it's especially bad on days when there's something new to grab in the Main Hall. May the most cunning win!
- There are rumors of other exits that lead straight into the Vile Wilds. One just has to (re-)discover them.
