Leaf Storm - "I tend to avoid conflict, but it seems like you've left me no choice."
His strongest move. Vetch sends a storm of sharp leaves after his enemies and enters a form of rage after its first use. Every subsequent use after strenghtens his offensive power, which is only possible due to his ability.

Glare - "...Pathetic."
Vetch glares down (or up) upon his target, who gets intimidated and frightened into paralysis.

Vine Whip - "It appears you have not returned your book on time. I will see them returned."
The target is struck with slender, whiplike vines to inflict damage. Vetch uses the vines to reach high places such as shelves or to prevent a 'mon from fleeing. A utility move.

Leech Seed - "Let's see which one of us lasts longer. I, on my part, have all the patience in the world."
Vetch flicks a seed on his target that, upon contact, spreads over the target's body in thin vines and starts to drain its energy.

History/Bio: Where there are books, there is also a Skobeloff-green Snivy highly engrossed in them. And since the Guild of the Emerald Enforcers is housing one such collection of paper knowledge, then the library is certainly the place to find Vetch in.

Vetch is an odd character. The snake showed up one day as part of the enforcers and has been ghosting the insides of the library ever since, not losing but a word about where he hailed from nor what his motivations are to follow such a lawful path. At best, people would get curt responses, at worst a confusingly put together remark that might act as an insult. Were it not for the Discipline Mark engraved in the brooch on his neck, many would question his alliance with the Guild altogether. And considering the Guild’s less than presentable past before it underwent its changes under Kalina’s charge… well. Harbouring suspicions is reasonable, he’d find.

Most aren’t really sure what exactly Vetch is doing within the Emerald Enforcers. He’s not known to contribute much in terms of the typical enforcer-typed work - not known to take up arms and get physical. Spotting the snake outside of the book-riddled confines of the library is a rarity to behold. So is he one of the researchers the Guild tends to host? An archivist? What assets does this snuck-up grass slitherer bring to the enforcers that they’d even consider letting him join their ranks?

That and more tends to get answered as one watches him pull out a map of a particular area, place down intricately crafted wooden figures onto the paper, and explain the intricacies of the presented situation: “I suggest you listen closely before you blokes charge into this vagrant encampment like a horde of mad bouffalant…”

Personality: At first glance, Vetch doesn’t appear to be the most approachable person. A real prick, one could say and they definitely wouldn’t be wrong in their evaluation. The cold side glances he tends to give those that would enter his closer proximity don't help his case either, nor does his convoluted and archaic habit of speech that more than often inspires one‘s desire of shoving this posh bush into a locker. It always seems like he‘s looking down upon people, which is grand, considering this Snivy is of average height.

But those are first meetings with Vetch. And while first meetings tend to leave, in this case unfortunately, the strongest impressions on a ‘mon, some might find themselves pleasantly surprised by this literal bookworm when they chose to squeeze past his strangeness. He’s a man of great patience, and while he will not hesitate to outright call someone a fool should they make themselves out to be one, he would never regard someone as lesser should they lack certain knowledge - to put it simply, he‘s not one to call you an idiot. For it is never too late to start learning. People know this strategist to be thorough in his works as he puts great care into seeing things done (and done properly, mind you), and that form of dedication doesn’t just reflect itself in the wooden carvings that he tends to file on when his hands aren’t occupied with maps or other types of paper. Approach him with a problem and you will see results, and organisation is key to a swift and effective execution. Items don’t go missing with Vetch as he will see every item he deems of importance at its designated location, which includes the books of the library so, please. Return them on time.

Vetch and his seeker-of-knowledge-nature welcomes like-minded individuals and those seeking advice. He will gladly offer guidance and, should he meet someone passionate in their topic of choice, strike up lengthy conversations with great interest because if there is one thing that Vetch is always in need of but rarely has the chance to indulge himself in, then it is companionship. And really, when you boil down this researcher character to his essence, then he is just an uptight introvert who doesn’t know how to socialise.
