Picture submitted for the MLP-ATG-Alumni Group, Week 17: a pony and their favorite toy.I'm pretty certain that's how Twilight "played" with Smarty Pants back then; come on, she had a notebook and a quill as accessories? It was asking for this! xD
(yes, she's actually doing her homework there. The teacher will have to reprimand her for turning in her homework using that size of paper. And, yes, I think Twilight was already practicing telekinesis herself before learning the theory about it.)
Baby Spike is also there, "learning" the ropes of his future job.

I like to think that Twi never really had those kind of ideas for Spike.

I've seen a couple of pictures of Twilight&Smarty Pants reading books together or hugging, but nothing to illustrate the "when you want to pretend she's doing her homework" thing. So, yay for canon!

Oh my gosh, this wins. Forever. I absolutely see this as something Twilight would have done. This entire idea is awesome, and I especially like Baby Spike watching, he's ridciously cute!

I've seen a ton of Big Mac and Smarty Pants, but suprisingly I have not seen much Twilight and Smarty Pants. (of course, I don't have nearly as much time to browse pony art as I used to!) This made me so happy to see!
