Description So... this is 's request, in his own words:
"Bon-Bon in a submarine underwater

And Sea-Pony Lyra is there

And they're touching hooves through the glass of the window, as it were."

Well, except for the part where Sea Pony Lyra has hooves... it's there!

Seems like the scanner took away some of my colouring, though. D:

I'd like to see SP Lyra try to turn herself into a hippocamp.

I am the spaciest space cadet ever to be flaky and forgetful about things, and I deeply apologize.

The picture came out quite nicely, and was basically what I had thought of when I had given the request. I can't see much that could be improved... About all I could say was maybe find a way to make the window more obviously a window, some glare or reflection or such. But man, traditional art. I can hardly ask you to do something, when I can barely see how it could be done in the first place, heh.

The colors look fine in spite of your scanner om nom nomming them, and your linework is quite impressive.

I'm humbled that you took the time to draw my silly request! It's wonderful.

I'm also reflecting on the fact that I gave such a shippy sort of request, considering I don't really like shipping, but that's hardly anything you need to worry about

Thank you so much!

You decided to address my pleas, even after all this time? I'm so grateful!
...ok, jokes aside, let's talk about this drawing a bit, shall we?

Window: Yeah, I also thought giving it a reflection somewhere, but... I couldn't pull it off. The window was already full with both Bonbon and SPLyra being near it... putting a reflection or glare that wouldn't obstruct much of Bonbon while making it still look like a glass window proved to be very difficult at that point.
So... consider that glass as having 100% transparency.

Next... thanks for your compliments!
On a side note, some people say that it's good to keep drawing on paper to improve lineart, so it becomes easier to draw on a tablet. Do you think I could invest on a tablet from this point on...?

Next... huh, I should thank you for making me draw somepony different. Otherwise, there would be too many AJs, Twis and Spikes on my gallery. xD
Oh, and for challenging me to draw a full background this time, too.

Next... Shippy? Why shippy? Just because there's a submarine?
...........................
*awkward silence*
...........................

Well, sorry for that one.
That said, I'm not much into shipping, either. Even Bonbon and Lyra. They could be really close best friends instead of a couple, if it were me. *suddenly, surrounded by an angry mob with torches and pitchforks* >___>
Though I don't think I would mind drawing some couples if things don't get saucy.

So... well, glad you liked it! ^_^
I hope that other people doing requests for you receive your feedback sooner. As I said before, not receiving them feels worse than receiving a negative one. =V

Yeah, I know. I am a jerk and also worst pony ;_; I usually do comment right away, but you just caught me in a perfect storm of distraction, I guess.

I think you could totes invest in a tablet if you wanted to. I hate to blatantly advertise for them, but I know of a really cheap one that served me well when I picked it up as a starter tablet. All you have to deal with is some funny business, sometimes the driver acted up a little bit on my vista, but it definitely got my foot in the digital art door. And it's cheap enough to be a pretty safe investment... Like, if you decide you don't actually want to go digital, it's not like you spent 100+ dollars on a tablet. And you can always trade up later, if you end up outgrowing this one.

Anyway, sorry again for being a space cadet.

Thank you for illustrationing the picturegraph! You drew a good job

I wish I could find a cheap tablet like that where I live.
Ended up ordering a Wacom Bamboo Pen CTL-460. Converted price (shipping included) must be around US$ 112,00. =V
So... looks like I'll have to make the best out of it.

I couldn't really design a submarine myself... so I took an idea from somewhere.
