First if you want to ask someone for a commission, you should save up on some points because most people on here charge differently than others.
After you think you have a decent amount of points, you can either go on the forum and make a post saying you are looking for people who do point commissions (unless you have a paypal) or you can just see if any of your favorite artists have commissions open (it's usually said on their journals with the prices)
Then finally, just send them a note and ask them if they can do a commission for you, then if they say yes just tell them what you want and then they'll tell you how much it costs. ^^

Well, my personal favorite piece of mine is Yuurei, and my favorite type of thing I like to draw is Alice in Wonderland themed things. ^^
