It was bad enough that Fang had to deal with and old enemy of her mother, but this witch proved to be one of the greatest threats to the jungle. Talia, the woman that was deceptive as she was attractive, had her plans to bring ruin to the jungle. She caused grief for Fang and her siblings, but now she was preparing something that could cause chaos throughout the jungle.

Having broken from her shackles, Talia had to feed on the life force of other beings in order to maintain her own life force. After doing this multiple times, however, she could go for longer periods of time without having to feed. Which meant she could cause the chaos she wanted.

She had finished setting up the witch circle in an underground cavern, with water that was vast and deep; Talia could not see the bottom of it. Speaking in some unknown tongue, Talia called forth a creature from those depths. A monster with a voracious attitude and one that Talia would bring under her control. After a long incantation, Talia could sense that the creature had been roused from its slumber. At first, the water was still, but suddenly ripples would turn into small waves; as the cavern shook. Talia used her magic to shield herself from the water and the debris of the cavern, as the monster rouse from the depths; releasing a abhorrent roar.

The darkness of the cavern concealed most of the creature; with Talia only being able to see the shadow of its main body. Soon, several disgusting tentacles bursted out from the water. At first, they moved slowly until they noticed Talia. The witch saw the tips of the tentacles opening up to reveal voracious mouths pointed at her. This creature intended on consuming Talia. However, the tentacles did not get within a few feet of Talia before they were stopped by an unknown force.

"Foolish creature." Talia said, amused that the monstrosity even considered the though of devouring her, "I summoned you and with my magic you are mine to command." The beast hissed and roared in frustration before the tentacles backed off; denied a meal...for now.

"With you under my thrall..." Talia continued with a sinister smirk, "I will devastate this jungle and remake it in my image." She raised her hands as she spoke in that weird language that controlled the monster with magic.

"Go forth," Talia commanded the beast, "And feast to your heart's content."

Here's the possibility of a future story. Talia has summoned some unknown monstrosity with tentacles capable of devouring a person. This creature is an Octalus, based on the movie from 'Deep Rising'. Had the movie been better written and had more convincing effects, I'd imagine this creature would be remembered as one of the more horrifying movie monsters.

Still, Talia could always used such a disturbing creature.
