Welcome! Are any of the locations based specifically on certain places putside of the obvious san francisco? And how far up or down the coast would the region stretch? I'm wild for maps and design stuff like that XD

Gotcha! I just meant more along the Cali coast wgen designing the coast itself, since galar had some of those coastal shapes brought in. I wunna find locations that would fit what you made up XD arw ypu from the area? I'm doing a write up for my own region with a very flimsily drawn map.

The Great Lakes. North end being Canada, south end being Michigan and Ohio with a touch of Pennsylvania and upstate new york. I'm from ohio myself and i'll shamelessly try to insert ohio into any universe i can XD muahaha

Oh no. Just what i would find cool as a region. I cant draw for the life of me XD the idea is to make it seem as a diverse region and cover alot of ground.
Also, i found irl locations that would fit with your map locations XD you picked the perfect spots for whT you put and it feels like sheer db luck since u said it wasnt intentional

I got Willow Creek, Hayfork, Redding, Chico, Sacramento. And a few others i'm still looking for.
I'm also going through and finding names for my towns and i'm just pulling stuff from other languages XD

I getcha. If i were you i'd try looking around cali for areas that match.
I use alot of whelsh and latin. and when that fails, gibberish shortenning. XD

Good thing about the great lakes is it would naturally have a bunch of dunes in the west, which i can make a desert, there is a big swamp marsh i can use, mountains and valleys, and actual caldera i can exagerate, a fair few major cities that can be used, and canada can just be a big ol snowy tundra without feeling out of place.

Mhm. But i cant imagone anywhere without a very distinct shape to it. The great lakes are probably a really safe bet. Or maybe along it's eastern coast.

Looks like mammoth mountain works comfortably for your ski lift.
