Hello everyone! So I'm sure your all thinking, JUNGLE DID YOU SERIOUSLY REDISIGN HER AGAIN? Your half right, and half wrong, yes I did tweak her design, HOWEVER I still kept it the same, and her backstory, is still the same just more thought out, now why did I do this? Well because I've noticed, with some OCs I don't normally post much about them after making them, MONA however I've noticed she's got quite a few pieces featuring her along with a few doodles, and honestly I love Mona so much, like really she's one of my favorite OCs for a show I've made, I know it doesn't show, but really Mona is one of my favoritist OCs I've made, like I've got a few drawings of her, that I planned on posting here that I hadn't gotten to, so I decided, since she's been here long enough, I love her, and her reference sheet is stupidly outdated, I am going to redo it! NOW ONWARD MY COMPANIONS!

-Biography-
Mona Lisa is a 14 year old girl, she lives with Todd in the Cuddlecakes Puppy Rescue, she likes hanging out with Donnie, reading, playing with the pups, and she has stupid big crush on Raph, but don't tell anyone I told you, she's sensetive about that kind of stuff
Originally when she lived with her parents in Long Island, and went to highschool their, with a few of her "friends" (she says they're friends, but they weren't really nice to her) unfortunately that ended up changing one day, when one of her friends had brought some kind of creature back from a trip to the Gulf of Mexico, which tragically died because of shock, and they had gotten the idea to throw it on her after school as "harmless prank" which they did, considering they would pull this kind of stuff all the time, she finally had enough, and decided to walk home by herself, so she could be away from them, as well as go stay at the park to calm herself down, unfortunately though while she was at the park, she ended up getting bitten by an oozsquito, (I wanna say this happend around War and Pizza) and she had began to change, her hair fell out, and was replaced with pink gills, her vision had worsened by a lot and she had grown a tail, at first she had no idea what had happened, but then she saw her reflection in the park's pond, and...had NO IDEA what happened and she had become incredibly distraught, she wasn't sure what to do, but she had gotten the idea that perhaps she could go to her family...It did not work, she tried to walk back home, but was quickly found by some police officers, who most certainly did not take well to her, and attempted to capture her, and shot at her a few times, which thankfully they only managed to graze part of her tail, but it was still enough for her to realize that there was no way she was going to be going ANYWHERE in one piece, so she disappeared into the woods, and tried to survive off the land (she didn't, she actually got dreadfully sick)
After a good while of sleepless nights, vomiting up poisenous berries, eating bugs, cutting herself on random objects, multiple panic attacks about what was happening or how her family must feel, and near death experiences from hypothermia and what not, her luck finally began to change (I believe this happened around the time of "The Gumbus") during a night of sleeping under a lemon tree, (she wasn't sure why it was their, but thought it'd be smart to sleep under it since it could have kept the bugs away) she had woke up to find herself being stared at by a capybara, at first they both stared but Todd after a few seconds greeted her, and brought her back to his place, where he gave her a nice glass of lemonade a hot meal, and a place to sleep for the night, the next day he asked her what she had been doing sleeping under the lemon tree. Which she explained and Todd felt bad for her, and told her that she could probably live with him, on the condition that she had to help him feed, clean, diaper, and play with the puppies, which Mona seeing it was either that or the L o n g I s l a n d W o o d l a n d s, agreed to the first option
Then after a couple of weeks she met the turtles, Mikey first, then Donnie, then Leo, then finally Raph who she had the hardest time warming up to (If I had the choice, I'd make an episode about those two meeting)

-Personality-
Mona's not what you'd call a wallflower, however she is quiet around certain people, she's social with people she knows, and will joke around, however if she doesn't know someone she's quiet and awkward, and tries to avoid contact with them. She's very opinionated too, if she thinks something's a bad idea, she will say so, and bother you about it, and try to make you stop, (and before you say she's too pushy, KEEP IN MIND a bad idea is what got her in this situation in the first place.). She's a very caring girl, she's the kind of person that if she you were hurt she'd get some bandages and bandaids and try to dress any wounds you had, if you had homework you didn't understand she'd try to help you with it, and if you needed a someone to talk to, she'd let you cry on her shoulder. She's also very protective, and will most definitely panic if you don't call her at the time you said you would, (Not like in an obsessive way, but like a terrified mom kind of way)
-Abilities-
Not going to lie, she's probably as thin as paper and if you thump her hard enough chances are she'll fall over and her bones will shatter into a million pieces, but she does have some form of defense mechanism to use against this,
First thing is when she was mutated she grew a second pair of lungs, which take in oxygen from water instead of air, so she can breath both air and water,
Another one is a taser, she had stolen from the Purple Dragons, (Another episode I thought of, where she'd go on a mission to save Donnie, I'll probably explain it later)
-Other Facts-
She is on the autism spectrum, (Trouble with talking to new people, hate loud noises, and she flaps her hands around and her tail wags when she's happy as a type of stimming)
She had shoes, but thanks to walking around on the forest floor, thorns and all that for as long as she had been doing without any breaks, they had gotten so shredded up, and worn out, that she couldn't even wear them anymore
Very good at math and science, she also reads a lot which is why her and Donnie get along so well
Is NOT a fan of germs, and she hates visiting the turtles at their home, but hey they're her friends so she bares through it
