This is great! You know I rember working with 3d obj files in Bryce, there was a smoothing option to remove the angular polygons on the surfaces. Does mesh lab have a feature like that?

Ajá ... Mesh Lab has that, but ... is very complicated for me ... when I finish to smooth and "repair-clean", I never know what kind of thing I'll see ...

I found using as little smoothing as possible keeps detail and keeps the shape from "melting" lol

Well ... Incendia 1.3 (not 1.2) have a special shapes called "meshes" ... the meshes are 3d models (or objects) with which you can play around the rest of the fractal you choose.
You can introduce new meshes, converting 3ds or 3d .obj to .stl file, which is the only file you can import to Incendia-meshes. I'm working with MeshLab for converting the models to .stl files ... After that you play with the program as always, but with new meshes ...

What kind of system do you have and what kind of graphics card. I installed it on my system and it seemed to make my system kind of unstable.

Well ... I'm working with Vista and Xp ... my Vista is more powerful: 4 Gb RAM and 2.33 GHz CPU and my card is NVidia ... which gives me more than a problem

Mira qué es raro ... yo de tí se lo comentaba a Aexion, a ver si se le ocurre alguna solución. La verdad es que las posibiidades son infinitas ... sobre todo poque puedes cargar cuantos modelos 3D quieras (siempre que los conviertas a .stl, claro, porque los meshes de Incendia sólo trabajan con esa extensión). Entre sus meshes, luces, sombras, simetrías, fractales y demás , la verdad que es el progama más "resolutivo" y divertido de cuantos llevo probando.

No se me ocurre otra cosa que la configuración de pantalla, pero ¿que no se abra? ... la verdad es que no entiendo nada (y como no puedo meter mano al pc de mi sobrino, me quedo con las ganas de "toquetear" para averigüar lo que pasa
