They have a bunch of uses only limited by your imagination. As for copies?? I assume you mean all the different characters recycling the same pose? Well, people have favourite characters and I would assume they'd be interested in having a SMEEL of their favourites.. Obsessions are not so much to be explained as they are to be feared and enjoyed.
