Saw the trailers for the upcoming movie, and I'll go see it, but... The guy playing Conan just doesn't have the jaw for the role. Call me a stickler, but the new Conan has one of these pointy little glass-jaws that's better suited to the cover a romance novel. "Conan the Pissed Off Elf," is what I kept thinking while watching it.
Now this guy, this guy's got the jaw.

I get what you're saying. Conan is a neanderthal. Gotta have those exaggerated features. Still, I'm looking forward to the new movie. Dig me some action.

Actually I heard that they've already filmed some of a Red Sonja remake but have put it on the shelf until they see how well the Conan movie does.
You know, in a way it's a bit like movie kidnapping - make Conan do well in the box office or Red Sonja never sees the light of day! - I suspect Thulsa Doom to be behind it all.

Haha, thanks man. I'm a huge fan of the originals, but I gotta say...I'm kind of excited for this remake. It's one of those feelings that I never thought I'd feel...but I feel it.
Of course, it will probably be a giant pile of shit, but if it's half as fun as the original, it'll be a treat!

I do have hope for the remake, and after seeing the actor on Game of Thrones I was more encouraged. What will probably ruin the flick for me the most if anything actually, is the fact that out here lately they are only showing movies in their 3D versions, and that pisses me off!
