One of my favourite creative hobbies that isn't just drawing is woodburning <3 I love the meditative process of setting up, and the intentionality of the marks. It's a lot like traditional inkwork, where you can't erase anything you put down, so your composition and markmaking have to be precise. In theory, that should spook perfectionist me, but the payoff of having something tactile and unique by the end is incentive enough.
