All I have is a mouse too. As a really great artist once told me, your tools should not be objects of limitations, but tools of invention. Just because you have a mouse doesn't mean you can't do what others can.

we has an A4 one and you get much more control in small spaces once you get used to it

Hm. That's true. I was thinking about starting off much smaller in hopes of getting the hang of it, but being left-handed makes it a bit difficult.
