I used this particular stock from =LuneBleu-PhotoStock as she fit perfectly with the scene I envisioned...her shawl almost mocking crow's wings.

The world I've known fades away,
With it goes the light of day.
Here I lay cold to the bone,
My legacy a tombstone.
I feel the ground begin to quake,
I know no more my soul can take.
I rise above the broken ground,
Only hearing these few sounds.
A flap of mighty midnight wings,
And its call it now sings.
This ebony creature of myth and lore,
Whos even knocked on chamber doors.
Whos come to lead me in my quest,
To put the wrong things right as is my best.
Now as we walk off in the night,
Equal creatures of such might.
So now I ask of thee what face you show,
I have but one and it will be a Crow.
