Hey all. Been working on this for the past 3 weeks. I'm really trying to put my all into this whole "combining design with illustration" thing. So I took my previous ideas, threw in some cad for placement and angles, made sure to jam in a bunch of light and color, lightly seasoned everything with texture, and came up with this! the reason why it took so long is because each element was drawn as it's own object and placed, rather than working on a single flat picture. That and I had to work around 4 light sources, but I think doing it this way gives me the opportunity to add depth where I need it. I have to say, this has really kicked me out of my comfort zone, and forced me to confront backgrounds, something I avoid if possible.

Anyway, If anyone could give me a serious critique, I'd really appreciate it. I'm really trying to push myself to get better. even if my hand hates me for all the cramps XD
