I've heard the names Soel and Larg used a lot too name the two mokona. Are they fan names or are they canon names? Are the names signifigant in anyway (I know Soel sounds like Soul, but what about Larg?) If the names are Canon, can you give me a link please? I might have missed it...

The names Soel and Larg were used in the Horitsuba Gakuen omake and the drama CDs, if that helps any.? (:
Horitsuba Gakuen is a AU that CLAMP made where xxxHOLiC and TRC characters go to a highschool together.

They appear in xxxHolic as well. In fact, the black one seems to be one of the main supporting characters (I've only read up to chapter 25, as of now).

true, but the white Mokona is very rarely seen in xxxHolic and not at all once the crossovers stop (as far as the current chapter)

BTW, I read some comments below, and there's nothing wrong with the tittle. Soel is the white Mokona and Larg is the black mokona. CLAMP said it in one of their books. ^_^

Oh whew!!! I found those names somewhere online, though I don't remember where - and this was before I'd actually watched the series, so I had labeled them "Soel" and "Larg" at first. It's good to know that I wasn't just making it up in my mind XD

There individual names are Soel and Larg, but they are referred to as Mokona Modoki.
I love Mokona! Especially in Tsubasa when she/she(?) goes crazy near a feather

Yeah, I actually drew this before I was watching xxxHoLiC, so I was really confused! So I did some research online and found "Soel" and "Larg" which is why it's labeled like that. Now I watch the show and read the manga so I know better XD
