Yesterday I tried to paint in Corel, today I'm experimenting in Krita, which I like much better!
I'm a beginner in digital drawing, I used to doodle on smartphone and on tablet with my fingers. No more finger drawings, this is a new era in "Jupiter, a terrier" illustrations! I try to learn digital drawing as fast as I can, as I'm planning to draw again my previous doodles to turn them into real illustrations.
So, this is my second day with Wacom Intuos. Yesterday I had the biggest issues with blending, so today I've created 4 layers, first with sketching, a second with grayscale blending, and so the third one was teh coloring. Unfortunately I merged the layers too early, so I totally messed up the drawing in the end. The 4rd layer was the hair, but it went totally wrong, so tomorrow I'm planning to experience how to paint the hair.
I decided to stay with Krita, it totally works for me. I've also found my favorite brushes, so I can't wait to practice more.
