so this is a short little animation that i crafted after i saw the to images above...
the first image was one that my friend made for my birthday, he is an amazing sfm artist who knows that mangle is my favorite...
so when i saw the pics it already had an effect on me just knowing that they were made for me...
the pics themselves are actually quite emotional for being just still images... so i got to thinking while i was working on other stuff at night what is the backstory to these pics...
so i stopped what i was doing and decided to actually animate this...
at first i was not going to post this to DA... i had it stashed with all of my other unposted animations... but i did show it to
he convinced me to post it because he thought it went well wih his pics and that it was quite well made...
anyways just enjoy this animation while i work on other things
and remember to stay awesome

So... I see you've theorized the Bite of '87...
Also, my take on what's going on here:
Mangle's memory data of what happened back then is replaying over and over while she's in sleep mode, simulating the effect of a nightmare. She wakes up feeling awful, and the Puppet, sensing her inner pain, comes to her and soothes her back into sleep mode.
My theory is that Puppet was the one who got the other animatronics to band together against the security guard. As such, he acts like a "big brother" figure, taking care of them in place of the irresponsible and lazy staff (whom I say so about because why else would they just give up on poor Mangle?)
This is also due in part to the fact (at least in my theory) that he gave the originals the "gift of life," but at the same time feels responsible for causing them further suffering. He therefore takes it upon himself to watch over the others in an attempt to relieve his own personal guilt.
Sorry for blowing up the comments section with all that nonsense, but it just came to me. Great animation BTW.
