We all know summertime is the time for many of us to go to the nearby community swimming pool, swim in your own pools, or flock to the beach for the sand, ocean waters, cool breezes, and smell of the salty seas. Yet one particular summer icon will be on duty at these locations (with the exception of one's home pool), and that's the strong and ever-watchful lifeguard. There are times where swimmers get in trouble, and the lifeguard is there to help rescue these people, especially from drowning. It's an almost thankless job, yet nevertheless they are important.

Well, I've done a few lifeguard commissions in the past, involving Naruto, Tenten, and Temari. Yet I realized there is one particular Naruto kunoichi that would be perfect for the job, not to mention would look *gorgeous* in a lifeguard swimsuit - Konan. Next to Tsunade and Mei Terumi, Konan is considered one of the well-endowned women in the Naruto series, and given her personality and body, she ranks up there as one of the sexiest women in the series. From what it looks like here on dA, there are far more art of Konan than Tsuande or Mei Terumi. A lot of fans love her, especially for being part of the trio of Rain orphans trained by Jiraiya and then later being part of the Akatsuki.

So with this idea to make Konan a lifeguard, I did some online research, found a nice background and lifeguad bikini for Konan, and gave all this info to Jeannette11 who I commissioned to draw-up Konan as a lifeguard. As one can see, Jeannette had done a great job. Konan looks quite lovely in her lifeguard bikini as she sits on a palm tree while looking out at the blue beach waters. Instead of her usual paper flower, I figured she would look better with a stargazer lily in her hair, to match the tropical scenary, and I was right, Konan does look lovely with the tropical flower.

So yep, this lovely scene of Lifeguard Konan, looking out at the tropical beach waters, was cropped from a commission done for me by the talented !

I first thought of placing Konan in those usual one-piece lifeguard swimsuits, like from the TV series "Baywatch." Yet I was glad to see online there are lifeguard bikinis, and this particular design suites Konan. She looks serious yet at the same time gorgeously sexy!
