When it comes to all the women in Naruto's life, I think one of the closest to him would be the very first girl to ever had befriended him, and that girl would obviously be Ayame, the cute ramen-stand waitress of Ichiraku Ramen. Being five years older than Naruto, she was old enough to remember Naruto's parents (See Shippuuden Ending 34 - youtu.be/vXJgQLknzfI ) and when Kushina was pregnant with Naruto. Not only this, I presume that when her father, Teuchi, gave a lonely Naruto his first bowl of ramen for free (Again, see Shippuuden Ending 34), Ayame eventually met Naruto and start to form a friendship with him. You can say that Ayame had become Naruto's first 'big sister' (Nee-chan), and this would make sense. Heck, I say it should have made more sense if Ayame had become Naruto's first crush rather than Sakura.

So yes, this close-up, of Naruto showing affection to Ayame, was crop from a commission done for me by !

Now for anyone new here, I personally had given Teuchi and Ayame the family name of 'Ichiraku', when i had long ago written my NaruTen fanfic "Unexpected Love". Canon-wise, they had not ever been given a family name, so I thought it would be great if the name of their business is also their family name.

For all my long time Watchers, Ayame's swimsuit might look familiar to you. If it does to you, it is likely you're remembering the first Naruto/Ayame commission done for me by LinART - NaruAyame: Ramen Love (Close-up) . I thought that it would be easier to just give Ayame the same swimsuit, just change the colors to match the Naruto Harem Swimsuits Theme . I also told Amenoosa to keep the Japanese word on Ayame's hairband, and for anyone who doesn't know, that is the Japanese word for 'ramen'.
