Lucia the Jungle Princess

"Azure Island. A place that at firsts looks like a natural waterpark, full of interesting paths to swim through, underwater tunnels that lead to big caves filled with crystals, natural hotspings in nice hidden spots, rare plants that only grow here, ancient temples full of hidden treasure, and the entire island is covered in a big jungle. But, when you actually come here, you'd quickly realise the island is also filled with not just animals, but also plants and creatures that no one has ever seen before, that all want to make a meal of anyone they can see, and don't think that they are just in the jungle, because the water has plenty of surprises as well. Those temples also might look like a nice resting places, but with how many traps there are in there, you can't catch you're breath in there. And I haven't even brought up all the different kinds of quicksand, mud pools, tar pits, and sand pits that are always changing where they are. ...Ugh, that stuff is everywhere, but I think I've made my point how a nice stroll can turn into a fight for you're life really fast. So I think it's not surprising that this island is empty, and people haven't lived here for a really long time... Well, except for me."

"I'm not sure how I got here, when I was young I just woke up on the beach, I don't know what happened, but I knew that I should probably get to work if I wanted to stay. The first few years where really hard, I had a small hut on the beach and had to teach myself how to fight, but I did realise that while I wasn't the strongest, I didn't have to be if I could outsmart whatever I was fighting, that defiantly helped me a lot. As time kept going, I started working on not only improving my fighting skills, but also my plans and traps for catching whatever I wanted, and I started getting better and better at making stuff, to the point where after a few years I built my own big treehouse, where I could sleep and relax comfortably."

"But after living here for so long, something weird happened one night, I was hearing someone calling from inside one of the temple, and after dealing with every trap I had to go through I was looking at some kind of floating, glowing crystal, who told me that it was the guardian of Azure Island and was keeping the pool of strange liquid behind it pure, this pit was called 'the Pit of Courage', and it would turn anyone and anything that went in it into a horrible monster, and if not kept pure, it would eventually destroy Azure Island completely. So a really dangerous swimming pool. The crystal said that it had been protecting the island for hundreds of years now, but that now it's time in that crystal form was running out, and it needed someone else to take over, of course, I have spend years on the island and know no one else is here, so I knew that either I had to take over, or I would not have a home anymore, so I agreed to become the new guardian, as I touched the crystal, I could feel the energy going through me, and when it was done the Crystal was gone, and I had become the new guardian of Azure Island."

"In the years since I've become the guardian things have defiantly become more interesting here. I do get people coming to my island sometimes, and while I don't really enjoy talking to them I do stop them to warn them about the jungle and to try and get them to leave, sometimes they understand and leave, and sometimes I end up in a fight, making a hard part of my job even harder. Apparently they t-talk about me back where they come from, calling me "The Jungle Princess". I'm not sure how I feel about that. But I have made some friends as well, like Yoko, a scientist that came to research the island, she's a lot to take in, but she has also given me a lot of fun stuff, like this thing called a Switch I can play games on, there's something called elec-tic-iti, that something she's got going in my treehouse and powers things like a ree-fridg-eator and a mikro-wave, and she gave me something that lets me go from one place to the other, letting me visit other islands and even worlds, there I've met more friends like Ember, Tu Li, Fang and Adrian. And I got myself a adorable little owl I named Harlow, who's just the cutest bird in the whole jungle, even if she can scream my ears off if she's hungry. I usually just like to spend time on my own, but I'll admit that having so many friends can be a lot of fun."

"My job as guardian has defiantly been pretty though, not just because I now have to make sure the Pit of Courage is safe, but also because there have been people that not only come to the island looking for it or many of the treasures hidden on the island, but they usually don't take no for a answer. I don't know if that makes things easier for me, since other people while friendly, ask a lot more questions about me and my life here. It honestly makes me really nervous. A fight is something I'm usually better at then talking to them, I'm able to move through the jungle and use it too my advantage, hiding behind trees, climbing on them, swinging on vines and knowing where all the small hidden spots are. I'm also really quick and sometimes people say that I'm a lot stronger then I look. But I believe my strongest side are my tactics, I'm really good at coming up with plans and ideas for how to handle most situations and I can often find the strong parts of my allies and the weak parts of my opponents really easily to come up with the best way to take on a situation."

Spear: "A spear is the weapon I'm the best with, I've made a few since being on the Island and I do my best to keep them all in the best condition I can, the ones I have now are made of special wood from StoneBark Trees, that I found on my friend Ember's island, even as a thin pole they don't break as easily as other types of wood, so that means I can do a lot more with them, if I'm quick enough, it can even block bullets and magic. I also give them handgrips just to make sure that I hold them well and making it harder to lose my grip. Of course, I do have some spears that end up breaking, and those I like to reuse as small daggers, just in case I need something to throw or cut more easily. I do have some daggers I actually made to be daggers, but the spear heads also get the job done."

Outfit: "So my clothes, or rags as some people I know call them, but i-it's usually what any visitor keeps bringing up. B-but I think they aren't too bad. I really like them, they aren't too form fitting, but they don't drag as well. I try to keep my clothes to what I think I need, a top, skirt and u-underwear, some sandals, arm bracelets, and a leg belt. I'll admit that with some parts I could have done a better job cutting them, but the shape is really hard to do, and the way I make them I usually ends up with some torn edges. But for the jungle, they're perfect for moving quickly through a hot jungle. S-so yeah! I like my clothes."

Guardian's Magic: "So after I got my job as Guardian of Azure Island, I also got some magic along with them, probably just to make sure I can do my job a bit better. One thing I found out was that I've stopped ageing and have become immortal, I guess that's just to make sure the Island has a guardian for a long time. I've also noticed that I'm now able to breath underwater, so I can't drown, and I can also survive being swallowed by anything that sees me as food, but that doesn't stop it from being really troublesome for me when it does happen, it's very tight, sticky, slimy, my clothes aren't resistant, and I'm stuck for a long time, so I still would rather not get stuck in that situation. Of course, since I'm supposed to purify the pit of courage I do have purification magic that I usually use on the pit every two weeks. It takes about a hour of just sitting in it, but it can also be sped up to a 5 minute ritual, but then I need to collect a bunch of stuff from around the jungle that can be hard to get, so I usually just grab it if I'm nearby. My purification magic also let's me purify anything that went into the pit, so if someone somehow gets in and transform into a monster, I can at least undo it."

Guardian's Spells: "Aside from just getting magic abilities, I also have some spells, it took me a while to understand them, but since my only guide was some old drawings on a temple's walls, I think I did pretty good. I got some light magic that can be really useful when exploring darker areas of the jungle like temples, and I can charge it up and flash it to blind opponents. I also have healing magic that helps me out a lot when I'm in a though fight or one of my allies is in trouble, and I can give myself resistance, either to everything, or stronger resistance to specific things like coldness, lightning or fire. But all these spells drain my energy and need focus, if I have more focus, they become stronger. So it's usually easier to hide first if I need to heal, or get really calm if I need resistance magic."

'Well I think that's everything, now I guess I've got to go out into the jungle to get some meat for tonight. ...Or I could just spend the night playing on my Switch and eating blueberries. ...What do you think?

So here we have something that I've been working on for a while. Drawn by the incredibly talented it's a full refence sheet for Lucia. Alongside this refence sheet I've both fully updated her bio and made some slight adjustments to her, such as her top now more looking like a sports bra and her armbracletes having a wrapping look. I think Toughset did a absolutely amazing job with Lucia! Perfectly able to capture her cute, friendly, and even sexy sides. The outfit's tearing is done really well, and I really like how the knot in her skirt turned out. Her top has been updated nicely, providing a bit more coverage for her, which suits Lucia really well. Unchanged parts of her outfit, like her leg belt, hairclips and sandals still look great on her, and I think her nicely updated spear is a really nice change to her. All the colours of her are great as well, from the blue of her hair to the browns of the outfit, everything works together really nicely. I also really love the expressions, they really capture Lucia's kind and strategic but shy personality really well, all while they make Lucia look absolutely adorable. The additions of Lucia's Switch and her bag of blueberries are also really well done, and make for a nice addition to show what items Lucia usually uses. Everything about this refence sheet is really great and I hope you all enjoy it!
