As the quicksand started to move under and around Lucia’s skirt while she was slowly leaning back, she was met with an uncomfortable and unnerving feeling. “Nngh-WhoawhoawhoaWHOA!” In that moment Lucia lost her focus and balance. She knew she had to act fast or her back would hit the quicksand hard and she would be pulled under in seconds! Lucia instinctively pushed both hands into the quicksand to keep her balance as she righted herself. But now her arms were trapped. “Well, that didn’t go as I’d hoped.”
