The colors still look great to me overall, but if you want the scanner to scan all the color then try putting it in professional mode. Does your scanner software have that mode?

This is very nice! It's drawn well and the darkness in the background looks great~

The colours are really bright though, there's too much focus on the background and the characters kind of blend in... In most places the shading and colouring looks great, but in some some places like the path in grass, it just looks unfinished with the white poking through. You could of also made the hill a little more distinct. You can't really tell just by looking at it that there's a hill.

Well that's all I guess. Otherwise it's a great deviation!! <3 And the shading is very nice especially one the tree tops and the bush (?) on the left. ^^

Nice work! I like the darkness of the forest behind them, it contrasts nicely against the brighter colors in the foreground.

I do think that the colors are a bit too bright, perhaps you could darken the yellows and greens a touch to make them more natural?
Also, try and make the trees closer to the viewer a bit wider than the ones farther away, namely the one to the viewer's left.
But overall, I do think this is a really good piece! The way you indicated the trees in the shadows is really creative and looks great. Well done!

...? Not too sure what you mean by "colour being out the lines" but the path does appear to end abruptly because there is a slight hill that slopes down behind them. If you look closer, there is a tinge of yellow even farther into the darker part of the woods where the path continues. I guess I could have made that element more visible.

Wow, this is SO cute! I love the way you've drawn the eyes and expressions! It really adds to the spooky effect of the dark forest behind!

I don't know if its on purpose or not, but I see the path ends quite abruptly a little way behind them and sometimes the color is out the lines.

Other than that, great work!

I think it's drawn fairly well, and I like the placement of everything. Plus, the ominous feel you get from the very back is neat and reminiscent of the villain.

I just think the colors are super bright to the point where it's distracting. I know Kirby 64 has bright and colorful environments, but here the characters just kinda blend into the background instead of being the focus because everything is bright all at once. I understand you might have had some scanner issues though, so take my comment with however many grain of salts you think are applicable.
