After hearing about it and seeing the movie, I am ALL for this pairing.
These are friends since foalhood and you can guess that Hitch does care for it, despite his threats to arrest her (though it's likely so he can bring her home safely). I really love the moments they got in the movie.
Plus, that hoof shake they did earlier? So cute.
