Description Garden Commander
The Extended Suburban Almanac Description

He's a great neighbor sure, but it would be nice to know who's behind that mask.

"We are the Gardeners, and it is our duty to protect our beautiful Suburbia from that Dr. Zomboss and his finest zombies."

About: Garden Commander was always a happy friendly neighbor, but when the zombies attacked, he had decided not to just cower in fear, but to stand up against the new threat. Armed with his personal Peashooter, Pierre, and his Wall-Nut, Wally, he successfully drove zombies away from a graveyard, replacing it with a garden. Garden Commander was the first human to step up against the zombies, and started a movement where others would step up against their undead tormentors, using both the abilities of their plants and that of their own to fight back. They became known as the Gardeners, and Garden Commander took it upon himself to lead these brave warriors and be a role model for what a Gardener should be. For instance, Garden Commander is well prepared as he carries his gardening tools and resources in his backpack, and his belt holds Pierre to let his hands be free. Garden Commander is also quite optimistic, and tries his best to lift spirits in hard times, but he isn’t afraid to put his foot down if the situation calls for it.

Strategy: Garden Commander grows Pea plants and plants in the Appease-mint family to provide serios firepower against the zombies. Garden Commander can block and parry incoming attacks with Wally, and then counterattack by mowing down the enemy with peas with the help of Pierre.

Abilities:

Bowling Beatdown:
Garden Commander calls on Wall-Nuts, Bowling Bulbs, and Tumbleweeds to roar down the battlefield to wipe out hordes of zombies. The initial hit of each plant does 60 damage, and the damage increases by 10 after every landed hit.

Rotobaga Flight:
Garden Commander grows a surprisingly strong Rotobaga that can carry him to new heights. This is great for either reaching rooftops, or to get easy airtime for shooting.

Flag Waver:
Garden Commander pulls out the Gardeners flag to grant a 2x damage multiplier to his Gardener friends, and heals himself for 50.

Sentry Pea:
This plant turret costs no sun to grow, accounting for value. It shoots peas rapidly, each pea dealing 10 damage. It constantly fires until it is destroyed, or disappears after 30 seconds.

Peashooter Scarecrow:
Garden Commander places down a scarecrow, and a small garden grows around it. The garden grows Hero Peashooters of all variants to help out in the fight.

Starfruit Spin:
Garden Commander pulls out a Starfruit, feeds it Plant Food, and spins around, dealing large amounts of damage in all directions.

Upgrades:

Umbrella Leaf: Leila the Umbrella Leaf makes sure Garden Commander is safe from above and when coming down. While in midair, she can be used as a parachute that allows him to glide, buying a lot more airtime for shooting.

Podfather’s Blessing: Using the Podfather, Garden Commander can give all plants in the Pea Family a boost that gives them 25 more health and allows them to deal 10 more damage per shot.

Green Thumbs Up: After every training session with Pierre and Wally, Garden Commander improves the effects even more with a true, 100% serious, thumbs up. Pierre now shoots 2 seconds longer before overheating, and takes only 1 second to cool down. Wally now has 750 health instead of 500.

Ultimates:

Pea-26 Boeing:
When he gets the chance, Garden Commander can call in his plane, the Pea-26 Boeing, which has two barrels that rapidly fire out peas, and can drop deadly pea lobs onto the field, making it a powerful tool in the heat of a battle.

P.E.A. Tank:
Garden Commander calls in the P.E.A (Plant-Powered and Eco-Friendly Assault) Tank. Garden Commander can ride in it around the battlefield, firing explosive pea shots that can blow up an area of zombies. He has a lot of fun doing this, laughing gleefully inside.

The Fairy Podmother:
Garden Commander calls upon the help of the magical Fairy Podmother, whom grants his wish to take care of the zombies. She does so by summoning and boosting powerful forces, the likes of which include Gatling Threepeaters, Hero Peashooters, and Giga Torchwoods.
