Though most prefer a more "natural" environment, some human colonists of UNI-HUM's personal research planet have elected to live in specially designed observation "terrariums" in one of her facilities. These terrariums contain hundreds of thousands of inhabitants, and can provide useful insights into social behaviors and large group tendencies amongst HUM's favorite species.
Though it becomes significantly more difficult for those participating to obtain an off-planet visa, the benefits are considerable, including healthy subsidies, increased public works and healthcare funding and further increased safety from hostile outside factors. Plus, HUM can make a quite interesting conversationalist!
