Yup, I had just turned 10 when the first three episodes of G1 aired and I've been a fan since day one. **grins** I'm a fan for life.

You know, I've honestly never understood why anyone would favor Starsream. He's a sniveling, conniving, back-stabing, cowardly, annoying, traitorous, grating on the nerves, pompous, selfish, git with severe delusions of entitlement and grandeur who's voice is like nails on a chalk board... All the reasons I've hated that characters since day one. O.o So why do people even like him? Seriously. I'm really not trying to degrade you or others who like him, but that really is my honest view of that character. On the flip side, I do understand the purpose he serves by being there in the story and appreciate the effort the voice actors have put into bringing him to life, I just simply can not stand that character, in any series, and I do not understand why he's some people's favourite. >.< He really has no redeeming qualities outside of the fact that he makes a great living punching bag for Megatron and Soundwave has no end of fun one-upping him and creeping him out all the time. XD

i dont know why i like him but i just do
i think it is because he is all those things...
but on the plus side... he does always come back even after being punished by megatron...
prehaps he is an outlet for megatrons anger

XD You know, the thing that keeps going through my head is that the dynamic between Megatron and Starscream is directly analogous to Dracula and Renfield. I half expected Starscream to go hobbling by, hunched over, dragging one foot behind him muttering "Heh-eh, yes Master…" after Megatron yells at him for the umpteenth time. That visual just cracks me up!
