"This looks like something out of a horror movie." The younger of the two, a purple unicorn, said. With a small moment of hesitation, he took the recipe book into his hooves and looked at the ingredients again. "Are you REALLY sure we did it right?" He asked, eyes flickering from one word to another.

The earth pony huffed, waving their hoof around. "Of course we did it right! We read it 5 times before we even started baking." They said, before peeking at the page of the recipe. "....Do you think we really did something wrong, though, Wit?" They asked after a moment of silence, making eye contact with Wit. The unicorn just shrugged and put the book on the table. "It definitely seems like we did it right. We added all the ingredients, kept it in the oven for 15 minutes as it said." Wit listed, eyeing their 'creation'. The two stayed silent for a moment before the earth pony grinned and took the cupcake. "I'm going to taste it." They said, fire of determination in their eyes.

"Are you sure, Charlie?" Wit said, raising one of his eyebrows. "Because, that thing-" He pointed at the cupcake in Charlie's hooves. "-seems like it might actually kill you." He said, a smirk forming on his face. Putting his hoof under his chin, he watched as his friend looked conflicted between eating the thing and chucking it into the trash, where it belongs. After a while though, Charlie grinned again. "I'm gonna do it."

"That's a mistake." Wit said, not even half surprised at Charlie's decision.
"Mistakes are the first step towards perfection!" The other chirped happily.

"That explains your position as the firstborn." Wit joked. Charlie looked at him with a pout. "Witty, what did we say about jokes like that?" They asked, earning a sigh from the young prince. "To not make jokes like that, unless I know for a fact that the other creature is comfortable with dark humor." Wit said slowly, which made Charlie ruffle his hair. "There ya go! Now..." Charlie eyed the cupcake in their hooves. "It's time." They took a bite.

Wit could only watch in amusement, as Charlie's eyes widened in disgust.

"Told you so..."

And there we go! A small base edit of my two favorite next gens, these two were my first for this universe. I just adore them and their friendship so much! I will do their ref sheets soon.

Now, no you aren't going crazy. Wit already had a ref sheet, but I deleted it. Not only did I not like his old design, but I also fell in love with a different ship for Twi. Sorry Twipest fans.
