The first thing I noticed about this piece is the way it strikes you, the beautiful symmetry of both halves, the bright and varied colour pallet and the overall detail of the art. When you do look at this piece in detail you can truly appreciate the art work for what it is, an amazing and fascinating arrangement of faces, fishes and brilliant colours.
This piece is not only fantastic to view its also rewarding to those who take the time to appreciate the detail ,complexity and arrangement of the art.
Overall this piece is amazing and it truly deserves a Daily Deviation!

I love optical illusions! I accidently made one once, I made a drawing of a tree look like a creppy skull with a spider in teh eye socket... big oops!

The more I look at it more it's interesting. This is the kind of art I love. For me every painting i do is an effort to find myself.

Just keep staring...and staring...and staring...and still, I doubt I found all of the ways to look at this.
But that's what I love about optical illusions, it's nearly impossible to get bored looking at them! Not only that, but they can be interpreted in many ways.

I can't believe that is oil on canvas; that you actually painted this. It is absolutely incredible and trippy; almost Dali-esque in the left-to-right "metamorphosis" there. And also a seal.
