Description
Here it is, Midak, took me long enuff.
its done from pure memory, so please dont tell me what i didnt include or sumthing
this is the painting i put most effort into, ever.
i like how it turned out, i payed attention to detail, like little dents and scratches on his armor and a bit of green lighting for a better mood,
i chose midak because there is NO fanart of him except that one doodle vrahno did.
hope you like it, please give me your thoughts.

IΒ Β Midak! I wondered, after hearing Onua's description of him, whether he was actually an Av-Matoran.Β It was never confirmed or denied...

I love obscure character fan art Good stuff here. I'm planning on painting the scene when the onu matorans first crack open the path to le-koro. Such great moments in that game! Glad to see other artists like yourself do good work like this from this game!

Oh that's really well done.
I always thought the wheat in his mouth was really funny. Β

This is actually one of the scenes I'm thinking about doing a painting of xD
Well, I don't think you want to hear ALL my thoughts, I have many, but I'll give you my core thoughts:
Β Your rendering of Midak is really good.. like, REALLY good. you have a great sense 3D-lighting . One can clearly see how you've gone deep into detail with your foreground and I really like him. you should be careful though, it is possible to add too much detail in a painting. If one object is too detailed compared to the rest of the image, it seems out of place, and this Midak nearly looks too good for his background... of course the balance is a matter of taste and I'm just throwing my opinion in there... Still, I like This Midak regardless. He looks damn fine to me.

I do indeed see you improving ^^ and its lovely.
Β Remember to always enjoy doing what you do though regardless of quality and what people ask. this is something that I have somewhat forgotten how to do, and I'm trying to get back to it.

You did an amazing job on the contrast between the smoothness of rock compared to the smoothness of Midak's metallic parts! Great work!
