Also yup I actually wrote Popi's stats on that stable plate thingy and yup I made up an Obertaurer brand..xD Talk about too many details in pictures that actually shouldn't take longer than 2 hours but do take a shitload of time longer.

No snow was left on the ground but the air still felt pretty chilly, especially when the wind picked up.
Connor was out in the courtyard with Jiff who followed him around like an oversized puppy, carrying a small, white doll-thingy, which he got from god knows whom, between his teeth. The dark-haired man smirked, dragged on his cigarette and took a step towards the lanky colt. "You know, lad, when you're older you will have to let go of that that thing. Grown-ups don't play with dolls, right?" Jiff snorted and shook his head as though he wanted to tell the two-legged that that was never going to happen. "We'll see about that, I guess. Regardless," he chuckled and shook the halter in his hand, the metal rings clattered gently, "it's time for some exercise now."
Everything went as they were used to it. Jiff tried to evade the halter with holding his head up as high as he could (which was not very high since he barely exceeded 12hh and Connor was a grown 5'11'' tall man and so it was not that big of a deal...yet) but picked up what Connor was trying to teach him rather quickly. But still the bay colt did not fully trust the brunette and the young vet was deep in thoughts about how he could possibly earn his trust when a loud shattering noise from the indoor arena caught his attention.
He spun around, his ears strained for any signs of further noise. "Hey, everything okay?" he yelled from the entrance of the stable building but everything stayed silent. Too silent for his liking. Even the horses in the stalls had stopped munching on their hay and peeked out of their stalls curious as to what was causing such a ruckus.
"Hello??" Connor called again but still no answer. He slowly made his way towards the brightly lit arena, his heart pounding in his chest.
A pained, low groan reached his ears.
He broke into a run..
