    ·         Both made a deal with a demonic entity (Jonny Blaze made a deal with Mephisto to save his father. Albert Simmons made a deal with Malebolgia, becoming his soldier of hell).

    ·         Both were empowered by this demonic entity and revived (Jonny Blaze became a Spirit of Vengeance. Albert Simmons became a Hell Soldier).

    ·         Upon getting their new powers they now use another name (Jonny Blaze became The Ghost Rider and Albert Simmons became Spawn).

    ·         Both would eventually find out they were tricked by the demonic entity that they made a deal with (Jonny Blaze made a deal with Mephisto to cure his father’s cancer so he would not die, but his father died either way during a daring bike stunt. Albert Simmons came back 5 years after his death and lost his memories, once he recovered his memories he remembered about his wife and that he wanted to be revived to see her again, but it was too late, she had remarried and started a new life in the 5 years).

    ·         Both hunt down and kill sinners.

    ·         Both would seek revenge upon their former masters, eventually killing them.

    ·         Both would fight both Angels and Demons in their journey.

    ·         Both use chains as one of their main weapons (And a form of fire).

    ·         Both eventually gained insane cosmic powers (King of Hell Ghost Rider and Angel Spawn).
