EDIT: Fixed some nagging details on the wood elf form that bugged me.And finally, this is my character in the campaign. She's a wood elf soulknife/fighter who was raised by the gnoll since she was baby. Eventually I plan on having her become infected with lycanthropy, to turn her into a werehyena! Heh, that way she'll be at least somewhat similar to a gnoll.
<.<; Hopefully I'll be able to pull it off. Anyway, this was a fun piece to do, and I'm really proud of it.

I see, very interesting So naturly she sees herself as a gnoll, because of her upbringing amongst them, and want them to prosper as a united people, and sees her fathers goal as her own, and will contribute, by trying to help him. (got it right?)
I dont know much about gnoll society, but I cant help thinking of the old tribes of the mongol. So I wonder, is it natural for gnolls to live as a united people, or will their animal instincts force them to return to their old ways, as a tribe, pack, pride, if Zieta and her father succeeds? And what about Zieta and her elvish heritage, will she ever confront, or be confrontet, with her origin; like she meets other elves?
Sorry for asking more questions, but my mind always wanders off when I hear creative stories...

Its not a problem, I don't mind answering questions, especially well thought-out ones.
First off, yes, that's an acurate analysis of Zieta.
I don't know too much about gnoll society, but its definatly not natural for them to live as a united people. So I'm tempted to say that their instincts will wind up seperating them again, or preventing Bruton from succeeding in the first place, but honestly those details are up to Bruton's player and our DM. I'm very interested in seeing where it goes and how it works out, so I'm pretty excited for the next time we can get together to play again.
As for Zieta, her heritage is already biting her in the rump. Although it doesn't have anything to do with being adopted by a gnoll, so I had opted to leave that part out. According to our DM some of his NPCs believe she's the reincarnation of their queen, but because her parents were killed in an ambush they believed her to be dead as well- thus they did not go looking for her. They're a society of psionics, and naturally that's where Zieta gets her soulknife ability. However, she wasn't raised by them so her powers manifested incorrectly, and now (as the party was told by an npc who claimed to be her brother) the society plans on killing her so they can reincarnate their queen once more and raise her properly.
'Lucky' us, we have a member of that society who was commissioned to find her, fight her, and kill her. So, the entirety of the campaign thus far there's been a figure lurking in the background waiting to stike. We've fought him once before, but even our party of 4 had trouble with just that one guy. x.x We'll see how it goes the next time he shows up.

Very cool, especially with the reincarnation part. Nice with a hidden assassin, that way you are always on your toes, looking for danger. Im looking forward to get updates on your quest, and best of luck with your journey, and get those gnolls united, no matter what the cost may be!!!
And in between, throw out a drawing or two

Sweet character design. Great job with the hands and feet, and the werehyena expression is spot on. You are quite good at hyena-patterns! Like the mail to, you get the elfish-mail feeling, mixed with the gnolls tribal mail
This is more an rp question: What are you planning your character have contributed to the gnoll society over the years?
Did that make sense...?

Ah, well the werehyena aspect stems more from her history. She's actually gotten her 'father' into trouble because she's a wood elf. Let me get into that with more detail though.
She grew up with her 'father' and his tribe of gnolls, but when she reached an age of maturity some of the tribesmen decided to either attempt eating her or trying... something else. Bruton (the father) obviously didn't like that and so he retaliated by killing the offending gnoll(s) and then they both fled.
Zieta feels very guilty about this on the inside, despite being bubbly, happy, and naive on the outside. I believe and she will believe (if and when it happens) turning her into a werehyena will prevent Bruton from getting into that sort of trouble again. As for situation, Bruton is planning on creating a united gnoll nation, so they're going to be around alot of other gnolls. It'll go more smoothly for him if he doesn't have to explain or defend his adoption of another species to everyone they run into.
Now, onto your question. At the moment Zieta is just wanting to fit in with her father and not cause him any more trouble for being a different species, but in the long run she wants to help bring the gnolls together and unite the tribes, feeling it will keep them better protected from enemies. But that comes from the campaign setting, Bruton's tribe was basically 'recruited' into a failing army or two half-dragon characters, and died because of it. In short, she wants to better the lives of the gnolls by bringing them together and going along with her father's plans, and that's better acomplished looking like a gnoll herself.
I tend to ramble, so let me know if this answered your question effectively or not. ^^ And thanks for the compliments on my art, I really love how her werehyena form turned out.

First, cool character. Her hyena form is made of win. Werehyenas are pretty sweet, I have three wereyena characters so far. XD I got kind of addicted to them after adopting one from *TheSilentSnow , though I had already had a concept for the one, Delilah, in mind. None of them have refs yet though. lD
Anyways, this is very well-done! I absolutely love the snarly expression, you seem to have hyena facial anatomy down pretty well!

XD Thanks! Man, I'm not use to drawing hyena's at all, since I mostly draw werewolves, but I think I did alright in this one. I gotta say though, I love their round ears. <3

No problem!
-nod- it looks very good. X3 Hyenas are fun to draw. I started doodling them one day for some reason or another, and I'm kind of attatched to them now. xD They've become one of my favourite animals. I irritate my friends by correcting them on various hyena knowledge (in particular, that hyenas are apparently dogs). X3
