Another one for VintageFeline 's contest! (go check it out here ) Let's jump right into the story!

The halls of the castle were quiet. So quiet it was as if nobody was there at all. Of course there was, it was just late. Felis was taking a night stroll, but tonight felt different than the other nights. He could still maneuver the castle by himself but because of the off feeling he called Illus but he never came. Confused Felis called for Guya as well, she didn't appear either. Now Felis was worried, no matter where he was he could always call upon them to help him. He continued to walk down the halls until he stopped in a bright light.
"Mother's moonlight? There's no window for her to shine here... " He whispered out loud to himself.
Where was Felis? It's home but not, is this a dream? Surely not, it's too real. He heard a sniffle next to him, which made him turn his head toward the direction of the window. Though he couldn't see around her, he could see a little siren? In front of him.
"Hi there, what's happened to you?" Felis asked gently, turning to her. But she merely glanced to him. She must not think he was talking to her.
"Little miss, I am talking to you, why do you cry so late?" Felis spoke again, she spun around at this. Her eyes filled with tears.
"You-you see me? You really see me??" She stood up and walked cautiously closer to him.
Felis nodded, "I can," He noticed the blood from her mouth and the gash on her stomach, "That must of hurt a lot. Who would have hurt you?"
Her tears began to drop again, "I don't know! I just- I was with my brother and-and then they came in and... and I couldn't move... when I tried to get up I could see my brother and my body.."
Felis nodded as he listened, "I'm so sorry that happened to you little miss, you must have been scared."
"I am! My brother doesn't see me! My mom and dad! Nobody!- Except you!... Who are you?"
"Prince Felis, son of Queen Luna and Lady Zecora." Felis bowed his head. She looked at him even more confused. "And you?"
"Princess Eventide...daughter of Empress Luna and Lord Discord." Eventide replied slowly.
Felis nodded and looked around, though it made no difference to him, 'so I'm not home.'
"I see... though I may not know how I am here I have a feeling I know why."
"Please tell me" Eventide floated in front of his face, to which he smiled softly before his expression turned sad.
"You can't move on, can you? That's why your wound hasn't healed and you're still here in pain and wandering." Felis looked at her wound again.
"I have to leave? But but I don't wanna leave my family! I dont wanna go.. please don't make me go." Eventide reached out to him, she'd beg to stay if she needed to.
Felis gave her a soft smile, "That's ok you don't have to go yet. If you don't want to you won't have to, take care of business here and then move on my friend."
"Take care of business?" She tilted her head.
"What do you want to most?" He looked at the window.
"I wanna talk to my family... tell them I'm here.. I'm ok now..." She replied sadly, her head lowering as she lowered to the ground.
"I can help with that, in the morning, let us talk to them. I'm sure they'd be happy to speak to you." Felis suggested, Eventide seemed to brighten up.
"Really? You'll do that for me?"
"Of course princess, I'd be glad to help." Felis smiled, it's good to let them have a proper goodbye, makes the process easier. "I'll see you in the morning, ok?"
"Ok! Thank you! thank you thank you!" Eventide smiled for the first time then.

Wooooo booooooiiii that was lots of dialogue again Eventide is Vintagefeline's and Felis is mine! This time around these two are half siblings, but that doesn't really matter much when they meet. Felis is blind, not complete black but it's like 90%. He can see ghost very well though, they're as bright as day and he can talk to them. His talent is helping these spirits move on if they need help, some come to ask him to check on their families, others just like to visit him. He's got 2 ghosts he likes to call his helpers, Illus and Guya (their designs aren't for sure yet so sorry bout that lol) Eventide isn't the first child he's met, sadly. He feels sad whenever he meets ghost that are hurting but it brings him a little joy? when he can help them. Hopefully he can bring peace to this family in a world like his own but it's so different.
Also i dunno if it's clear but the window in the picture, that lets Felis know he's not exactly home is a new window that their world made to mourn the princess and remember her. Like the other murals in the kingdom-
