I'm active I promise xDUhm.... look its clocksworth before I end up doing shading to it. Also, I feel like the lines are oddly bright, even though they are black. Not sure why... I'm probably going to start using SAI paint instead of photoshop.

Your lines are bright because you color on the same layer as your line art and probably use the paint bucket tool to fill; if you create a layer beneath the line art and use the polygonal lasso tool to select which areas you want to color and THEN fill on the layer beneath, your lines will darken up because the color will go all the way to the edge P:
